Not only for him being my father, but also for being a bright example of what could be achieved through persistence and hard work.
From growing up in a mud house in 50s Saudi Arabia, to occupying the Credit Manager position at the world’s largest sovereign property development fund, each step of his extraordinary journey marks a point at which many lessons can be learned, and many principles can be derived.
If he taught me something very well, it would be that to create something utterly different, you need to observe each of the contributing elements at it’s most basic form, and then delicately arrange, and re-arrange it's components, to finally approach the stage of perfection.

App Development

Developing iOS Apps in native Swift, which ensures access to all of the native APIs, maximizing both performance and hardware utilisation of all targeted devices, while eliminating the need for API-bridging.

DBAAS

Integrating cloud based authentication, storage and database solutions, covering the whole range of data CRUD operations and ensuring highest possible performance and up-time.

UI & UX Design

Apps are essentially a template to showcasing dynamic data, and therefore depend greatly on both well designed user interface elements, as well as outstanding user experience, a point well demonstrated in the WomenSports App.

Digital & Social Media Marketing

Greatest products are no good if no one heard about them. With the practical knowledge gathered in two diplomas in both Digital & Social Media Marketing respectively, I’ve got to know to ins and outs of achieving maximum ROI even on a budget, mainly by continually discovering all available means to find the perfect blend for each product, having paid marketing serve as an interval catalyst to a sustainable organic growth.


Video Marketing

Well-produced product advertisements could do wonders propelling products to success. However, it is usually the case that they either end up being very low quality doing the product more harm than good, or cost a fortune to produce. I believe, however, that knowing where and how to manage the right group of freelancers to animate, narrate and compose the videos’ music, can result in an Ad that does a very good job delivering the product’s value even on a budget.

Counter-Retail Financial Trading

With two diplomas in counter-retail trading, custom MT4 indicators, a balanced 14 instruments portfolio, avoiding base currency overlapping, coupled with auto-entry and chart-based existing mechanisims make for a solid trading strategy that’s currently undergoing a heavy testing phase.

Gone are the days of classic business models that rely on a fixed added margin to the CPU, businesses aren't adopting new innovative business models will eventually be overtaken by fierce lean ventures.





Branding

An aspect that is oftentimes overlooked, specially in the Apps space, despite being one of great importance. If there is one thing to be derived from a classic business model, it would to be establish a trustful and sustainable relationship between the user and the brand, both gaining customers loyalty and adding to the brand’s total value.

App Data Analysis

Launching an App doesn’t mark the end of the development process, but rather the beginning, updating and fine tuning all parameters to the match the ever changing market requirement. The integration of the right data analysis tools helps achieving this by identifying the right parameters and avoiding vanity metrics, while preserving valuable end-user privacy.

A dark theme was chosen for the Main News Feed to improve readability, specially indoors or at night, focusing primarily on the content. Each of the 18 Sports is identified with a unique colour theme that is present across the app, from the News Feed over Sports Details Screen to Product and Insights, this association helps with content identification and goes towards building a sustainable connection with the app.

Allowing the dynamic content of the app to be favourited, along with having a personal profile image being shown in both the Main and Settings Screens, goes a long way into providing a more curated experience for each individual user. Great content wants to be shared, and the built-in sharing function throughout the app generates unique, content relevant dynamic links, contributing to WOM driven organic growth.
